I started taking Little Miss to the library for story time before she was old enough to stay awake the whole time. It was difficult because I had to hold her up, but here's the picture from our first story time.
THEN: (2013)
Now, she prefers to get some books beforehand, sit in the front, and snack through the show. At the very end, they allow all the children to come sit on the stage to sing, "It's a Wonderful World." Little Miss never went up until this last time. My heart swelled with pride as my little toddler struggled for a millimeter of seating at the edge. It is such a privilege to get to be present as she grows up.
